Turret House is a wonderful coastal retreat offering groups of friends or family a peaceful escape filled with timeless charm and modern touches. Situated in the tranquil village of Crail, this home from home offers you and your loved ones the chance to explore beautiful beaches, tiny harbours and charming seaside villages.
As you enter the house, you’ll be delighted by the soothing colour palettes and super-comfy furnishings throughout that set the tone for a relaxing break with loved ones. The cosy lounge, with its wood-burning stove, has lovely sofas where you can perch with a morning coffee or an evening tipple, and the big windows offer lovely sea views, reminding you of your incredible location. However, if you want a really superb spot from which to gaze out at the view, head to the comfy turret seat, nestled away in the turret that gives the house its name.
When bellies rumble, head to the modern kitchen, which has stylish cabinetry, a dining table that seats your group and big windows that flood the space with natural light. Equipped with all the modern appliances you need, the kitchen offers a delightful space to cook up hearty feasts, making meal prep a breeze. And if the sun is shining, head outside to the enclosed patio garden and dine alfresco in the fresh sea air.
When night falls, the house has three superb bedrooms on offer. On the ground floor is a serene master bedroom with a lovely ensuite for added privacy. And on the first floor sits a cosy king size room and a lovely bunk room that’s ideal for kids. There’s also a second shared shower room on this level.
The house sits in the beautiful village of Crail in the East Neuk of Fife, a hidden gem perfect for a summer staycation. Enjoy a lobster roll, a scenic beach stroll or a trip to the Isle of May to spot puffins.
From Elie to Crail, the East Neuk blends fishing heritage with charm. Crail has a lovely harbour, alongside a renowned Lobster Hut. In Pittenweem, explore its bustling fishing harbour, St Fillan’s Cave and the Pittenweem Arts Festival.
Nearby, St Andrews, Anstruther and Elie offer more coastal beauty and history. Whether for food, culture or relaxation, the East Neuk is an unforgettable Scottish escape.
