The property is beautifully decorated throughout, with a subtle nautical theme giving a nod to its coastal surroundings. Calming colours, comfortable furnishings and a touch of luxury combine to create a wonderfully welcoming home away from home.
The light and spacious sitting room is the perfect place to gather and enjoy the fabulous view across the garden to the fields and sea beyond. With soft sofas, a wood burner to keep you cosy and a Smart TV for entertainment, it’s the relaxing hub of the home.
The open-plan country-style kitchen and dining room has been designed with entertaining in mind. Fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare a leisurely breakfast or three-course feast, this soothing space is a chef’s dream. And if you fancy a night off from cooking, why not hire one of the recommended private, local chefs to do the hard work for you? Once your food is ready, the long, wooden dining table, with its comfortable wicker chairs, is the perfect spot to savour your meal while enjoying the far reaching sea views.
The six beautifully decorated bedrooms will leave you spoilt for choice when it’s time for lights out. Three of the rooms are ensuite and most have enviable views out to sea or across the fields. All beds boast Hypnos mattresses and luxurious linen to maximise your chances of a peaceful night’s sleep. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and double shower.
Stepping outside the house, you’ll find yourself in the well-kept, enclosed lawned garden. With a beautiful backdrop of green fields and the shimmering sea beyond, and comfy L-shaped sofas to relax on, this is an idyllic spot to enjoy the pure, sea air or watch a stunning sunset. If you fancy a flame-grilled feast, a BBQ is provided and there’s a wonderful wooden table with wicker armchairs for alfresco dining with a view.
At Tregosse House, you’re blessed with the best of Cornwall on your doorstep. The picturesque South West Coast Path, offering fabulous scenic walks, runs past the house; there’s a beautiful, sandy beach less than a 10 minute walk away, and if you want to hit the waves, surfing equipment can be hired from the nearby surf school. A little further afield, you’ll find the charming fishing village of Port Isaac, home to two Michelin starred restaurants; historic Boscastle, with its pretty harbour; and Bodmin Moor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
