Set overlooking the beautiful grounds and Georgian-style buildings of the historic Euridge Manor, the Lost Orangery provides a unique setting for an escape to the countryside. Enjoy celebratory meals with close friends and family in the magnificent dining space or step out to soak up the view from the castellated terrace, complete with topiary. Head out to explore the charming market towns and villages of the Cotswolds or go for long country walks over the rolling hills surrounding the estate. In the evenings, enjoy a rejuvenating session in the private, wood-fired sauna before enjoying a sundowner out on the terrace.
The interior has a touch of magic to it with light flooding through the vaulted glass ceiling above, making the chandeliers sparkle. The warm terracotta walls and lush greenery create a welcoming atmosphere while the carefully chosen furnishings provide a sense of elegance. Enjoy breakfasts and lunches at the table with the doors open onto the terrace, letting in that fresh countryside air. Light the candles in the evening and the space becomes cosy and intimate as the sky darkens above you, providing the perfect setting for a memorable dinner.
You’ll find everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen, or you might prefer to arrange for a private chef to take care of things for you for a special occasion. There’s a living area at one end of the orangery with sofas to sink into after enjoying an indulgent meal. There are two double bedrooms, both with sumptuous four-poster beds and beautifully furnished with antique pieces and artworks. You’ll find luxurious claw-foot baths in the ensuites, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long country walk.
Step outside and soak up the scenery from the terrace or step down the stone staircase to the lawns below and explore the estate. It’s home to 450 acres of private grounds and you’ll stumble across beautiful features around every corner. There are rose gardens, water features, a thatched boat house and even a crumbling ruin to discover. If you fancy venturing a little further afield, the charming village of Castle Combe is nearby with its pretty Cotswolds cottages. The historic city of Bath is also within easy reach with its Roman Baths to explore, elegant architecture and spa with stunning views from the rooftop pool.
