The Corten Courtyard House is a unique and modern space for four guests sitting behind an Edwardian wall in the buzzing city of Bristol. Winner of three awards, this brand new building was designed by prize-winning Bristol-based Barefoot Architects.
This stylish home is set on a raised ground floor, where floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interiors with natural light and frame serene views. Thoughtfully designed with an eye for detail, the interiors combine comfort with contemporary flair.
The ground floor boasts a sleek open-plan kitchen complete with a breakfast bar where you can perch and keep your loved one company as they get to work in the kitchen. The kitchen offers everything you need to whip up delicious feasts from an oven and hob to a microwave and toaster. When dinner’s ready, there’s a beautiful wooden dining table that invites leisurely meals that stretch long into the night.
You and your loved ones can get together and relax in the lounge, which features a large smart TV and a comfy double sofa where you can unwind with a drink in hand. The sofa can also convert into a bed for extra guests.
There's also a cosy double bedroom on the ground floor, and upstairs you’ll find the second double bedroom which is a peaceful and private space with its own modern ensuite wet room. There’s also a family bathroom, which is a luxurious space, offering both a deep bath for indulgent soaks and a walk-in rain shower. Upstairs offers you access to the stunning roof garden. With lush planters and greenery, it’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset drinks, overlooking Mina Park and Mina Road.
Every detail has been considered. The home is fully equipped with underfloor heating and flat-screen smart TVs are in all living spaces and bedrooms, there is also high-speed WiFi and USB charging points in every room.
When it comes to filling your days, there's lots to see and do in the area. The area bursts with character, from its colourful street art (Bristol is, after all, the home of Banksy) to its welcoming, laid-back vibe. The home’s curved exterior backs onto Mina Park, a green space where kids can enjoy the lovely playground while locals mingle, walking their dogs or catching up with friends.
Discover the hidden gem of St Werburghs, one of Bristol’s best-kept secrets. This charming neighbourhood is a delightful mix of Edwardian streets and a vibrant community feel, centred around Mina Road. Here, you’ll find award-winning restaurants, cosy cafes and unique independent shops to explore. For convenience, a large supermarket is just a two-minute drive away, while Cabot Circus shopping centre is an easy 20-minute walk. Bristol Airport is also within easy reach, just 25 minutes by car.
