Enjoy a relaxing break with the whole family amidst the glorious landscapes of the Broads National Park. This collection of marvellous, brand new cabins each provides families of up to six (a maximum of four adults) a charming base from which to explore this beautiful part of Britain.
Situated off the upper meadow, these cabins offer delightful views out across the camping field and each have their own outdoor area, where you can unwind in the summer sunshine. Light the BBQ and grill up some delicious local produce as the kids play on the grass and when night falls, fire up the fire pit and toast marshmallows as the stars come out up above.
When you step inside, each cabin has a lovely wooden interior with big glass doors opening up onto the deck. In summer leave these open letting the outside in, and on cooler days, close them up and light the log burner so you can stay toasty and warm inside. The cabins all have their own self-contained kitchenette, which features a cooker, hob, fridge and sink, so you’ve got the option to cook inside too if you don’t fancy firing up the BBQ.
When night falls, there are two separate mezzanine sleeping areas, both of which feature wonderfully comfortable double beds that each have their own porthole window for enjoying the stunning Norfolk sunset. Each mezzanine is accessed via a striking, hand-made tree trunk staircase ladder, which adds bucketloads of character to the interior.
The living areas of each cabin also has a sofa that can be converted into a bed that is suitable for any children you may be bringing with you. The cabins also have their own shower rooms, for added convenience.
Each cabin works wonderfully for a family retreat with kids, however, they’re also suitable for couples looking for a base for a romantic retreat amidst scenic countryside.
If you wish to venture out and explore, the local area offers an abundance of activities, with Norwich's historic city center just a couple of miles in one direction and the breathtaking Norfolk Broads in the other. From your cabin, take a short walk to the water and rent a canoe to explore the scenery from a new perspective. Alternatively, put on your walking boots and venture along the Wherryman’s Way, which winds through open countryside, woodlands, charming market towns and serene lakes.
For a dose of history, head into Norwich to visit Norwich Castle or wander through the Lanes, where you'll discover a variety of independent shops and delightful eateries.
