The Old School House is a wonderful retreat for groups of up to eight guests in a peaceful Norfolk village. This charming home is full of character and offers big social spaces, high ceilings and a lovely garden where you can unwind in summer.
Grand and opulent, The Old School House is ideal for your next family retreat or break with friends. Unwind together in the big living room, with its double-height ceiling and giant comfy sofas. This charming space is a great place to socialise, with a smart TV offering entertainment and a wood-burning fireplace keeping you toasty and warm all year round. There’s also a big dining table here, next to the huge windows, offering a delightful spot to dine together as a group.
The beautiful conservatory is another great social space, with its gigantic windows flooding the room with natural light. Sit here with a good book and a nice cup of tea as you enjoy some peace and quiet.
When it comes to meal preparation, the property’s kitchen is outstanding. A truly stylish space, it features dark cabinetry, a butlers sink and is nicely equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals for your group. There’s another dining table here, that sits beneath a pitched, black-framed glass roof, offering yet another dramatic spot for big hearty dinners.
When night falls, the property has four beautiful bedrooms, offering accommodation for up to eight guests. The bedrooms are lovingly styled and offer a peaceful night’s sleep, with bedroom number four being a bunk room that is ideal for kids - though adults are welcome to use it! There is a downstairs toilet for added convenience and a family bathroom upstairs with a bath, offering you the chance to enjoy an indulgent soak after a day exploring Norfolk.
Stepping outside, The Old School House has a peaceful garden with an alfresco dining table and a seating area with a firepit. Gather out here, throw logs on the flames and stay toasty and warm as the stars come out above.

Just 15 minutes from Norwich, guests can explore its vibrant market, historic lanes and rich culture. The Norfolk Broads are a five-minute drive away, perfect for boating, while Great Yarmouth’s lively attractions and serene beaches like Horsey and Happisburgh are also nearby.
