This stunning, octagonal Palladian gem is perched above the idyllic Suffolk countryside offering groups of up to eight a truly memorable stay close to the Thetford Forest. With its domed roof and classical elegance, this architectural treasure boasts jaw-dropping views over rolling parklands, the peaceful River Blackbourne, the enchanting Church of St. Genevieve and the stately Euston Hall with its picture-perfect gardens.
The Temple has been transformed into a luxurious haven, blending timeless charm and original features with modern-day comfort. Gather together in the splendid living room on the first floor, with its huge high ceilings and grand feature fireplace. Get comfy on the sofa or the armchair as you toss some logs on the flames and enjoy a morning coffee or evening tipple in style. The large living room also features a second seating area with another comfy sofa sat opposite a TV, that’s ideal for movie nights or catching up on your favourite shows.
The modern kitchen is situated on the ground floor and has everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your group during your stay. This big, open plan room also features an octagonal dining space that makes grand dinners a joy. French doors open up onto both sides of the garden, which offers a lovely space to sit out in the sunshine with a morning coffee or get comfy with a good book whilst taking in the view.
When night falls, The Temple has two king size bedrooms. One is on the ground floor and has an accompanying shower room, whilst the other is on the first floor and features large corniced windows and access to a shared bathroom with an elegant free-standing bathtub.
When you hire The Temple, you also have exclusive use of the nearby Garden Cabin. This additional space can sleep an extra four guests across two bedrooms, meaning the entire property can sleep up to eight. The cabin also has its own cosy living room and a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.
The Temple sits on the grand Euston Estate, meaning there’s lots to see and do all around you. Wander through the enchanting Pleasure Grounds, a captivating landscape designed by the illustrious John Evelyn, a courtier to King Charles II. Renowned for their charm and elegance, these gardens invite you to immerse yourself in their timeless beauty.
For those drawn to water’s tranquility, the waterways of Euston are a must-see. Expertly crafted by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, one of England’s most celebrated landscape architects, these serene channels wind their way through Evelyn’s Pleasure Grounds. Guests can also experience an exclusive shooting adventure like no other in East Anglia at the Euston Estate's private rifle range. This premier facility caters to marksmen of all levels, offering shooting distances from 40 to 300 meters.
