With 17 rooms, you can choose from a Standard, Character or Feature room. The Character rooms offer up a little more space and comfortable seating, whilst the largest Feature room is perfect for a small family with an additional bed available and fabulous views out over Ullswater. No matter which room you pick you can be assured of plenty of beautiful styling with crisp linen and cosy tartan textiles. The handsome rooms have plenty of character with design features ranging from bespoke beds to an impressive antler chandelier and full wall murals.
As well as standout design, the rooms are all luxuriously appointed with flat screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and stunning en suite bathrooms complete with rain showers. And with fresh milk and chunky shortbread provided you know you’ve landed somewhere that prides itself on going above and beyond.

Location-wise you are just a stone’s throw from Lake Ullswater - the second largest lake in the Lake District National Park. From here you can head off to do some fabulous hill walking - with everything from easy circular routes to more testing hikes up Helvellyn (the third highest mountain in the Lake District). If you fancy something a little more leisurely then you can head out to explore the lake by steamboat. And for those wanting to explore the local towns then Penrith is a great place to start - just 15 minutes down the road it offers up an array of pretty tea shops and quaint pubs.
