Inaccessible by car, guests at Encuentro Guadalupe are transported in vehicles owned by the property, with the friendly, English-speaking staff ready to help you settle in and provide all the information you might need about the area upon your arrival.
The rooms are housed in individual, converted containers that perch upon the hill in the valley. Each room at the resort has a minimalist look, and you’ll find air-conditioning/heating, space to sit, a comfortable bed, an iPod dock for your tunes and a private bathroom that includes soft, fluffy towels. All rooms have a balcony so you can step outside to admire the stunning views whilst you sample the local wine. There’s also a fire pit outside your door so you can stay up late to see the stars without getting chilly.
Once you’re settled into your room, you can explore the resort further and take a dip in the large, outdoor pool, or head to the restaurant or bar, serving up delicious, local wines. If you want to know more about what you're drinking, there are wine tasting sessions daily in the lobby. There’s also a hot tub for you to bubble away in, and massages are provided for you to truly kick-back.
On weekends Encuentro Guadalupe hosts a small market selling local produce and goods for you to admire. Locally, there are about twelve different restaurants for you to taste, plus forty-five vineyards in the surrounding area for you to get acquainted with the local tipple. Once you’ve tasted the wine you may have a thirst for more knowledge on the subject and luckily the Vide y El Vino Museum can be reached in only ten minutes from the resort.
