This stunning colonial-style cottage will have guests falling in love the moment they step through the timber framed doors into the beautifully-styled interior. The cosy living area is full of charm with vintage furniture, pretty floral curtains and oil paintings on the wall. Glass doors offer views directly outside over the neighbouring paddock so visitors can make the most of the peaceful environment, no matter what the weather is doing.

The doors lead directly out onto the decked verandah where guests can perch on the cute swing seat or sink into the thick cushions on the Rattan outdoor sofa suite. In warmer months, fire up the barbecue and tuck into plates of grilled meats and salads at the stylish outdoor dining area. This lovely area makes the prefect spot to idle away sunny days and evenings, without having to leave the comfort of the property. You also have your own hot tub where you can sit and enjoy the view whatever the weather.

The neighbouring hills are renowned for their walking trails, should guests be tempted to take a trip out. The cottage has a handy boot room for cleaning muddy boots and hanging outdoor clothes when returning from hiking the nearby hills. And where better to soothe those tired muscles than in the delightful claw-footed, freestanding bathtub? Fill with hot water and pour in the bubbles before wrapping in the cosy bathrobes provided and getting ready for dinner.

The stylish kitchen has everything needed for making delicious dinners and guests are invited to pick fresh herbs from the herb garden to add flavour to meals. Enjoy romantic meals at the antique dining table and enjoy the flickering light from the wood burner. After dinner, relax in the open plan living area. Kick back beside the fire and sink into the leather Chesterfield sofa with a glass of wine and a good book, there is also a flat screen television with Netflix, which is ideal for a movie night in with your loved one.

When bedtime beckons, the king size bed, dressed with crisp linens and cosy duvets and pillows, guarantees a deep and restorative sleep. A beautiful vintage glass lampshade casts pretty light patterns across the ceiling and bedside tables offer lots of space to stack the bedtime reading.

The Cottage is situated on farmland where guests may encounter badgers, deer, and owls. Swim in the nearby lake, just 200 metres from the cottage, and forage for mushrooms and blackberries whilst spotting the migratory birds. Beyond the farm, the area is much loved for its hiking and mountain bike trails and, after a day of action, there are many great places to refuel. Try one of the many local pubs, The Six Bells is a favourite, or, for something extra special, head to the Michelin-starred Restaurant Tristan in nearby Horsham.

The place was so dreamy! Everything you could need under one roof and more. Very dog friendly, hosts were brilliant. They left such a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The cabin was cosy, hot tub was clean, bedding was super soft. Couldn’t recommend it enough. We can’t wait to be back xx
