Relax and recharge in your own little hideaway on a 200-acre farm, just an hour from central London. The surrounding landscape of Colemans Farm has remained largely the same for the last 150 years, offering a glimpse of a slower pace of life. You’ll find The Coop tucked away in a quiet spot surrounded by woodland and farmland with just the sheep and even the occasional deer for company. Sit out on the deck or even enjoy a dip in the wood-fired hot tub and enjoy the peace and quiet.
This gorgeous little cabin has everything you need to escape the busy rush of modern life. A cosy double bed with crisp, fresh linen is waiting for you along with a bathroom with a shower and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s a gas hob and a fridge inside, as well as a large BBQ and firepit out on the deck so you can cook alfresco if you fancy.
Wake up in the morning and take in the view out over the meadows from your pillow. The way that Colemans Farm is run, as an open farm where the wildlife is allowed to flourish, means that you’re more than likely to spot a wild animal or two from the windows of your hideaway.
A wood burner keeps The Coop warm and cosy whatever the weather and you’ll find wood, kindling and firelighters provided. There is also a hot tub which is heated by another wood burner. Get a roaring fire going and then sit back and relax in the delightfully hot water, perhaps even going for an evening dip under a starry sky.
If you want to venture out from The Coop, there are tracks across the surrounding 200-acres of ancient farmland. Wander past beautiful trees, traditional hedgerows and even a babbling brook as you explore Colemans Farm. There are also plenty of walks and cycling trails that take you into the local countryside. Epping Forest is nearby with some really beautiful walks amongst ancient trees. If you need to get back to civilisation to do a spot of shopping, the pretty market town of Epping is nearby.
