These three light, bright cabins offer couples rural luxury just a short journey from the city, providing you with the ideal bolthole for when it's time to press the eject button and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With their private gardens and delightful views, these wood-clad cabins give guests the chance to slow down, breathe and make some special memories with a loved-one.
Relaxation begins from the moment guests arrive and turn on the bubbling jacuzzi, ready to be jumped into once the unpacking and bottle opening is done. Gaze out over the garden and the countryside beyond, enjoy the fresh air and revel in the tranquility. On warm days and evenings, start the day with coffee on the terrace, followed by a BBQ lunch and finish the day sipping a cocktail from the comfort of the double daybed while watching the sunset over the fields.
These cosy studio cabins are gorgeous inside too with plenty of luxuries to help guests unwind. One wall is dedicated to a well-equipped, modern kitchen. Pop some vinyl on the record player and dance to your favourite tunes while preparing a romantic supper for a loved one. There is a large fridge and plenty of space to store goodies for the entire break.
Enjoy dinner by candlelight outside on the terrace or on the cosy sofa where guests can take in the pretty views of the garden from the comfort of the cosy cabin. After dinner, indulge in a glass of bubbly, soak in the freestanding tub and catch up on guilty pleasures courtesy of the wall-mounted flat screen television.
When it's time to turn in, the super-king size bed, with its crisp linens and funky throws and headboard, gives a great night's sleep and guests can wake ready to enjoy another wonderfully relaxing day.
Pull on the walking boots and explore one of the many circular walks beginning at the front door and take in a pub or two along the way. The Fox and Duck at Therfield and The Bull at Cottered come well-recommended and are well-regarded gastropubs a short walk away.
