A dreamy getaway in a quirky, stylish cabin awaits romantics looking for a cosy retreat to relax in and leave behind the stresses of the everyday world. Surrounded by woodland and wild flower meadows, visitors will feel refreshed and rejuvenated from the moment they arrive in this natural setting. The tranquil sounds of nature and the fresh country air soothe and calm busy minds, leaving them ready to make the most of the lovely habitat.
This charming corrugated-roofed wooden cabin is raised on a deck where days and evenings can be idled away in the wood-fired hot tub or with a glass of wine and a stack of books at the outdoor dining area. A wooden screen surrounds the hot tub, offering extra privacy and shelter from any sudden gusts of wind. Summer days will continue long after the sun has dropped, as guests make the most of the pollution-free skies and watch for meteor showers on balmy summer evenings. When the night chill sets in, head inside and discover the rustic charm of the cute interior.
The kitchen area is small but adequately equipped for putting together satisfying brunches and romantic suppers. A wood burning fire sits in the corner, stoke it up for cosy evenings watching the flames flicker while relaxing on the king size bed with a good book while summer rain is heard pattering on the iron roof. Quirky triangular windows ensure guests can still enjoy the magic of the surroundings, whatever the weather.
The tranquil environment provides the perfect backdrop to a wonderful night's sleep. Snuggle into the quality linens and soft duvets and pillows for a rejuvenating rest leaving guests refreshed and ready for another day exploring the surrounding area.
Walelands is handily located close to lovely Aldeburgh and Southwold. There are many beautiful beaches in the area - kick off the shoes, feel the sand between the toes, take a wild dip or laze on the beach soaking in the summer rays.
The area is extremely flat, so exploring by bicycle is a great option. And when it's time to refuel - try the Harbour's Inn at Southwold or taste delicious seafood at Sur Mer in Aldeburgh. The nearby Poacher's Pocket also comes highly recommended for its food.
