The Firs sits in four acres of grounds and offers luxury converted farm buildings and glamping lodges which all have their unique charm. Each lodge and tent gives you your own space to relax and is landscaped to give you privacy.
If you come and stay as a group, you will have the whole site to play with. Up to 14 adults and two children can be accommodated in comfort across the range of homes and you will find great communal spaces to enjoy together. Take advantage of pizza ovens, the giant fire pit and the moat for natural swimming. Feast together in the cart lodge with its horse box bar and party barn. Enjoy a sauna at the spa and then retreat to your own spaces to relax, unwind and sleep.
The collection of uniquely designed one or two-bedroom lodges feature wood-burning stoves, Hypnos cashmere mattresses, star-gazing windows, modern bathrooms and beautiful kitchens. Whether you choose a safari tent, a wooden cabin or a converted stable block, comfort and calm await you.
Each lodge looks out onto a delightful garden area and boasts its own private woodfired hot tub where you can relax away from the communal areas in peaceful tranquility. Surrounded by fields and trees in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, the landscaped grounds offer a kitchen garden with fresh produce, chickens wandering around and the opportunity to book massages and yoga lessons. Your party can enjoy collecting eggs from the hens, picking vegetables, cooking on firepits or renting a bike for a day out. For celebrations, special occasions or simply gathering large groups of friends or family, The Firs offers a unique and unforgettable holiday.
Once you have exhausted the four acres of surrounding landscapes, the local area is full of walking and cycling opportunities. Local food and wine experiences, restaurants and pubs will delight even the biggest foodie. Quaint inns await you on the quiet country lanes and you can take a wine-tasting tour at one of the local vineyards. Trips to the beautiful Suffolk coast are a must. Have an amazing day by the sea in Southwold or Aldeburgh. Enjoy fish and chips at Sole Bay, a pint of Adnams beer and a walk along the beach, then have an ice cream while watching the tide come in.
