Sycamore Cottage is a stunningly restored former farm cottage nestled in the heart of Hexham, that sleeps up to four guests in peace and tranquility.
The journey begins with a charming entrance lobby, complete with coat stand and shoe storage, leading into the open-plan kitchen and dining space. The sitting room is cosy and inviting, with east-facing windows that fill the space with natural light. Sink into the comfortable seating, gather around the wood-burning stove or enjoy a film or box set on the Smart TV which comes with Netflix, BBC iPlayer and ITV X.
The kitchen is a budding chef’s dream, fully equipped for holiday cooking with an integrated fridge/freezer, electric fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and a Nespresso-compatible coffee machine for that first brew of the day. For added convenience, there’s also a washer/dryer in the outbuilding, along with a freestanding freezer.
When dinner’s ready, head to the stylish dining area, which offers a large table for family meals and a cosy sofa for relaxing in the company of your guests.
The primary bedroom is a true highlight, with a super-king size bed, vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beams. East and south-facing windows offer scenic views of the garden and luxury linens and towels are provided.
