This simple yet stylish pod has been designed with one goal in mind – to provide the perfect place in which to unwind. Getaways here are all about relaxing, reconnecting with each other and immersing yourself in the peaceful landscape that surrounds you. You’ll feel the stresses of everyday life melt away as you fall for the charms of this tranquil hideaway.
The unfussy design of the pod creates a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere. Pale wood cladding and clean lines give a sense of crispness, while statement furnishings add a pop of colour.
This cosy bolthole is open-plan in design with a comfortable king-sized bed, adorned with colourful cushions, at its heart. Behind this, the contemporary kitchen, with a combi microwave oven, induction hob, fridge and dishwasher, has everything you’ll need to whip up a feast.
The ensuite shower room boasts a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and heated mirror with a shaving point. You’ll also find two thick, fluffy bathrobes, ideal lazy morning attire.
From the living area, a steep ladder takes you to a charming mezzanine level. With its window seat and beanbag chair, this is the perfect place to watch the sunset or stargaze. On a clear night under the dark Northumberland skies, you’ll be treated to a breath-taking view of twinkling stars, a magical moon and, if you’re lucky, you may even spot a planet with the naked eye. The mezzanine can also sleep up to two children over the age of six, if required.
Stepping outside, you’ll find yourself on your private outdoor porch. With a log burning stove, comfortable rocking chairs and spectacular views towards the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it’s a super spot to while away the hours. And when it’s time for a change, why not take a relaxing soak in the decadent, roll top outdoor bath?
