This unique seaside cottage on the popular West Beach, offers you extensive sea views and direct beach access. The cottage is well equipped and has been tastefully furnished, but step outside onto the first floor decked balcony to truly admire the wonderful, extensive sea views and amazing sunsets!
Inside, you’ll find a modern and fully fitted kitchen that includes gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. There’s also a utility room, accessed from the rear of the property via the raised deck area and a downstairs WC. The spacious lounge and dining area is furnished with two sofas, a side board, dining table and chairs and a wood burning stove, perfect for keeping you cosy on those colder nights. There is a TV with Freesat and built in DVD player. The living area also uniquely provides access to the beach, so throw open the door in the morning and head straight out to go paddling, swimming or simply walking along the shingle before anyone else arrives.
Upstairs, you’ll find a fixed stairgate, so young kids are kept from the stairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a stunning view of the beach and sea and there’s even access via sliding French doors to the first floor decked balcony. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower, WC and basin, and there is a twin bedroom with two single beds and a built in wardrobe.The rear decked terrace has patio table and chairs and overlooks a shared garden mainly laid to lawn. Parking is at the rear of the property in front of the garage and access to the cottage from the parking area is via the lawned garden.
You’ll find so much to do in Whitstable from shopping at the independent shops, to drinking at the traditional pubs or dining at the great restaurants. There are also plenty of old smuggler alleys to explore, remember to hold your breath as go down Squeeze Gut Alley! Kids will enjoy hanging out and going for picnics on the beach, as well as swimming either in the fresh waters of the English Channel or the swimming pool on rainier days. Adults should make a trip to The Neptune pub, the only pub in the UK built on shingle, perfect for supping a pint of Whitstable ale as you watch the sun go down.
