The North Stable is the perfect retreat for anyone who wants to get away from it all and recharge their batteries surrounded by nature. Bringing the outside in, this recently renovated stable offers reclaimed wood and modern fixtures stylishly presented in tranquil earthy colours and featuring cosy textiles, beautiful pottery and art.
The open-plan yet cosy living, dining and kitchen area is a welcoming and sociable space with a large comfy sofa perfect for cuddling up on with a glass of wine and a smart four-seater dining table where you can chat over a tasty meal.
The spacious handmade Shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped and offers a microwave, fan oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and Nespresso machine. The interiors are straight out of a style magazine with high-quality touches and there’s even a complimentary welcome pack which includes local juice, milk, bread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and local jam. French doors open out to a pretty courtyard and garden and extend your living space into the landscape.
You’ll find two large bedrooms, one king size and one twin, both fitted in soothing natural wood and wool carpets with soft glow pendant lights, luxury soft furnishings, hand-made mango wood storage and allergy-free duvets and pillows. The warm, welcoming ambience of these spaces will ensure you get the most tranquil night’s sleep.
One of the true highlights of this stylish home has to be the bathroom with its deeply relaxing teal tiled walls, luxurious shower and bathtub. With its handmade stone sink, subtly soothing low lighting and natural wood walls, the North Stable bathroom is a sumptuous treat. For that extra touch of luxury, you’ll find underfloor heating, Egyptian cotton towels and complimentary natural ingredient hand and shower products by Bramley.
Outside you’ll find a private garden and patio terrace area where you can make the most of the sunny evenings and eat outdoors from the BBQ. The kids are well catered for with a play area which includes a sand pit, trampoline, swings and their very own sports field complete with sporting equipment.
There are lots to keep you occupied during your stay. Your cosy home is set on 10 acres of private farm land so there are plenty of opportunities for country walks and wildlife spotting. Nearby you can visit local vineyards, National Trust properties or take a trip to Canterbury or the coast.
