This iconic 70s wagon is an absolute dream, with a modern cosy interior and would be perfect for couples wanting a cool and unique escape in the Scottish Highlands. This lovingly restored Airstream sits like a silver bullet in a beautiful little garden. The surprisingly spacious interior houses an ultra-comfy, award winning super-king size bed with luxurious cotton bedding, feather and down pillows and duvets, and the hosts have thoughtfully provided Whites and Co. luxury towels and bathrobes for your use.
There's a small fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove where you can whip up a wee feast whilst sipping something delicious. The décor is funky and light but cosy too, and as well as the kitchen there's a rather brilliant ensuite shower room so you have everything you need inside if the weather turns wet.
No detail has been overlooked in this unique, stylish and fun space, but when you step outside it all gets even better. Right next to the wagon is a covered pergola made cosy with lots of leafy plants and fairy lights over the space, which has a large luxurious hot tub as its centre piece and comfy soft seating with a low table. It's a lovely spot for chilling out in the tub with a glass of champagne or a cold beer before cosying up around the fire pit to toast some marshmallows and enjoy the sun setting over the stunning views of Tay Valley.
There are endless walks to be had, which are also fabulous for cyclists and runners. The wild larder on your doorstep is ideal for foraging and you can embrace Scotland’s right-to-roam rules.
When it comes to dining, there's a great choice depending on your mood. The Grandtully Hotel and Tully Bar offer up two restaurants. One is fine dining and the Tully Bar offers a relaxed vibe, whilst the food is outstanding in both. These spots also run a field-to-fork cookery school where you can learn to cook with some of Scotland's finest ingredients.
The local loch is beautiful and sits in Highland Perthshire. It provides guests with an idyllic spot for some wild swimming and water sports and also has a wonderful cafe, The Paper Boat, which serves simple, locally sourced food and coffee. If relaxation is your thing, then you can visit the amazing spa, HotBox, that sits on the edge of Loch Tay. This spa has a massive sauna and hot tub on the edge of the Loch, with a daring slide in to the icy waters for those brave enough to take the plunge. Your hosts will be happy to recommend other things to do and see in the area, of which there are plenty!
