This peaceful cabin perfectly bridges the gap between a holiday of cosy luxury and outdoor activity in the glorious Perthshire countryside. You might spend misty mornings lazing in the luxurious linen sheets of the king size bed watching the sheep wander across the farm (an especially lovely view during lambing season). The glass wall next to the bed is a wonderful touch and creates unity between the guests and the landscape.
The ‘black cabin’ lives up to its name, with an exterior of black wood and glass seamlessly blending into the landscape of the farm and the scenes of undisturbed natural beauty. Privacy is guaranteed thanks to the isolated location of the property which is enclosed by a fence and situated in a field surrounded by views of the rolling hills and forests.
The cabin features an impressive outdoor area. Here the decked area has chairs and a table offering the ideal location to enjoy a morning coffee with incredible panoramic views of the working farm. Fancy an alfresco meal? Pass dreamy summer nights on the comfy bench marvelling at the sunset and stars with a romantic dinner cooked on the BBQ or firepit. You might even hear owls hooting!
Unwind with some cold water therapy in the converted whiskey barrel, or stay toasty all year round with the underfloor heating and hot rain fall shower. Guests can take advantage of the fully equipped modern kitchen to rustle up a meal to be enjoyed in the heat of the log burner (firewood is provided for one night) or in front of the TV for a movie night.
For adrenaline-seekers and adventurers, the local area offers opportunities for mountain biking or wild swimming and paddleboarding in Loch Earn. There are plenty of chances for anyone to get active in nature right on your doorstep such as walking trails, a golf course and the six mile cycling path just 600 metres from the property which is perfect for cyclists and runners alike.
Fancy a romantic dinner out? Wander over to the quaint St Fillans and enjoy an elegant evening overlooking Loch Earn at Lochview Restau Achray House. This charming village also boasts a store as well as various pubs and eateries.
Immerse yourselves in local history and culture with a trip to the magical Doune Castle, or a tour of the Glenturret Distillery before grabbing lunch at the distillery’s own Michelin Star restaurant. Perhaps you might also travel to Crieff, a bustling town just 12 miles away, for a romantic stroll through the exquisite Drummond Castle Gardens.
