A large window opens up the cosy cabin to the nature just outside, while the comfy king size bed, stunning bathroom and log-burner ensure guests are treated to a luxury stay. Based on the grounds of a boutique lochside hotel at the foot of a mountain in the Highlands, the cabin benefits from being close to the best of local produce and cuisine, while offering the privacy and quiet that many will appreciate.
From the outside in, the Lux Compact Cabin is a true modern design feat. Its eco-friendly cork flooring with underfloor heating makes sure its inhabitants are kept nice and warm, along with the log-burner to light on a cold winter's evening. The king size bed with upholstered backrest is positioned right next to the full length window, allowing guests to wake up and take in the natural views. A luxury bathroom with high-end fittings and striking design gives guests a deluxe environment to relax in, while the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for the day and evening.
If you don't fancy cooking then be sure to visit the incredible on-site restaurant Monachyle Mhor. This is a renowned restaurant that offers exceptional, refined Scottish food, sourced mainly from the farm, or nearby. This is a truly special place to enjoy meals during your stay, and the exec head chef, Marysia Paszkowska, has been at the restaurant since 2010! The venison comes from the surrounding hills, and the vegetables, fruit and herbs all come from the kitchen garden of are foraged in all sorts of secret spots. The restaurant also has sweet and succulent Scottish seafood on offer!
The walls have been constructed for optimal energy performance and warmth inside, so there's never a worry of feeling the chill from outside when tucked up inside the cabin.
At the end of a beautiful single-track lane along the banks of Lock Voil, the cabin provides guests with plenty to discover right on its doorstep. The surrounding wild land and the pretty loch can be enjoyed without going too far, while venturing a little further afield will land visitors right in the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with its countless breathtaking views, walking trails and outdoor activities galore.
