A luxurious, romantic detached wood-clad lodge in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Osprey Lodge is a luxury detached cabin offering spacious accommodation for two. Space and comfort are at the forefront with the focus on using natural materials wherever possible. The timber cladding used inside and out comes from sustainable Finnish forests and is treated with heat and steam alone minimising its environmental impact. Reclaimed timber has been used for the kitchens, doors and furniture with an air-source heat pump delivering the heating and hot water.
The downstairs bedroom features a super-king size bed with snug bedding, ample wardrobe space, a vanity unit and TV. Adjacent you’ll find a modern shower room with a rain shower and a bespoke vanity unit. The wooden cladding throughout adds an atmosphere of boutique Scandi chic. And on those cooler days, the lodge even has underfloor heating throughout to keep you cosy throughout the year.
Also downstairs is the spacious kitchen diner which comes equipped with Bosch appliances, granite worktops and has a large kitchen island at its heart. Enjoy a drink sat at the island whilst your designated chef prepares dinner. The dining table has ample seating for four should you have friends or family staying at another lodge on-site and want to get together.
An oak staircase leads up to the living area and also the second bathroom. The living room is split into two zones; one side features a large comfy sofa with a smart TV and the other side boasts a wood-burning stove and chairs for cosy nights in by the fire. A balcony area with seating in the shelter of the eaves can be accessed via sliding patio doors and brings fresh air and plenty of light into the living space.
The other half of the first floor is dedicated to a relaxing spa. Here you'll find a bespoke Finnish sauna, a walk-in rain shower, a large freestanding bath and also a heated mosaic bench for relaxing after a sauna session. This really is a great space to pamper yourself.
Further sliding patio doors take you from the kitchen out to an enclosed decked area. This is partly undercover, protected by the balcony above and offers amazing views toward Craigellachie Hill. An outdoor table and chair set plus a BBQ can be found here giving you the opportunity for alfresco dining in the fresh Highland air.
Your cosy home is located in the heart of Aviemore and all its amenities are within easy reach. Several other villages including Boat of Garten, Nethy Bridge and Carrbridge are within a short drive and further afield you can reach Inverness within 45 minutes. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just want to relax and take in the local scenery, you’ll find plenty of activities on offer.
