This lovely new detached holiday home nestled in Grenville at Wallops Wood is all on one level making it perfect for those with mobility issues, and also welcomes dogs! It would be perfect for a family gathering of up to six and makes an ideal getaway in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.

The very large open plan living, dining and kitchen area will be your first port of call. You can take delivery of a big supermarket shop, stock up the fridge and crack open the wine! This is also a lovely sunny space with big glass patio doors that slide open and allow the sunshine to saturate the space. The kitchen has everything you could need to whip up a feast which you can enjoy at the oak dining table or out on the deck if the weather is perfect. If you don't fancy cooking on your first night you can fire up the BBQ or take advantage of the pre-order service and have a meal delivered to your door, all you have to do is warm it in the oven.

The living area has big plush blue sofas and a high-backed red armchair where you can settle in for a movie night before bed with the toasty wood-burner keeping you all cosy and warm.

Three ground floor bedrooms are beautifully decorated and more reminiscent of a high-end hotel than a holiday home. Each has ensuite facilities with one room offering a very large wet room perfect for wheelchair access. All of the rooms have lush comfy king size beds decked out in fine linens, access to a balcony for that morning breath of fresh air, their own TVs and blackout blinds to ensure a good night's sleep.

In the morning you can head back through to the kitchen and make use of the Nespresso machine. If the sun is out, slide open the patio doors and settle in on the rattan furniture whilst someone else cooks breakfast.

Be sure to bring some pool towels with you as you'll not only have your own private hot tub in the lawned garden where you can bob away to your heart's content, but you'll also have access to the indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms at nearby Wallops Wood Cottages. You simply book your daily 45-minute slot and head over – it's just a mile away.

For days out you're well placed to visit a number of lovely Hampshire towns within a 30-minute radius by car. Head into historic Winchester and wander round the water meadows before enjoying a lavish lunch at The Ivy. Or book a table at one of its many cosy pubs including the St James Tavern and The Wykham Arms, both of which are dog-friendly. Alresford is well worth a visit and has a fantastic tapas restaurant called Pulpo Negro but you do need to book in advance. Head to Southampton for a day of retail therapy or simply relax on the deck with a good book on a balmy evening and enjoy a BBQ.
