This newly renovated and self contained apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide everything you could need for a refreshing break by the sea. Part of The Outlaw's accommodation and restaurants group, it's the perfect place to stay for a couple or friends who love seafood and want to indulge in all there is to offer in this idyllic seaside retreat.
The Annexe consists of two main rooms - a cosy living room with a big comfy mustard sofa and a kitchenette which will be stocked with some essentials to help you get settled in. The lounge space also features a smart TV and a Sonos speaker, so you've got plenty of entertainment options. The kitchen comes equipped with a Neff oven and induction hobs, a coffee grinder, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge/freezer, so you have all you need to whip up some locally sourced produce during your stay. These living spaces have a charming, seaside decor, with calming tones and pretty furnishings.
The well appointed bedroom has a big cosy bed that guarantee's a great night's sleep. When you wake up you can mooch into the ensuite and have an invigorating shower before breakfast. On your first morning you'll take delivery of a complimentary hamper from the local bakery with fresh bread and pastries which you can enjoy with your first coffee at the small dining table for two. After which the foodie adventure begins!
Take a stroll to the small fishing port and soak up the charm of the place before choosing which of the two Michelin-starred restaurants you fancy trying first. Outlaw's Fish Kitchen is a 30 second stroll from your doorstep and is located inside a 15th century fisherman's cottage. They serve a fixed price seafood menu at lunch and dinner for £88 per person and the experience promises to be both delicious and memorable. Their menu is dictated by the sea and the fishermen and changes daily. Outlaw's New Road is only a 10-minute walk away and a mainstay of Port Isaac for the last twenty years. Their eclectic menu offers a variety of exciting dishes from cured monkfish to lobster salad and is a wonderful place to go for a celebratory meal.
Port Isaac is where the TV show Doc Martin is filmed so it's a very popular spot for visitors and has some wonderful guided tours and hikes. The most popular pub is undoubtedly The Golden Lion at the heart of the port but slightly further afield you'll find other gems like the 15th century village pub St Kew Inn and The Port William Inn.
After a day of gourmet feasting you can amble back to your little nook in the port, pop some music on or settle in for a movie night before crawling into bed and doing it all again the next day!
