The first two stays to mention are the beautiful Shop Suite 1 and Shop Suite 2. These two Art Deco-inspired escapes are perfect for a stylish getaway for two. These one-bedroom suites feature super-king size beds for a peaceful night’s sleep and luxurious bathrooms with a freestanding bathtub and rainfall shower.
There’s also a wonderfully chic sitting area and retro touches like bold wallpapers and pastel shades create a vintage vibe. Guests can enjoy shared access to an outdoor terrace with countryside views, daily housekeeping, and premium amenities like Sonos speakers and a stocked minibar. Positioned above the village shop, it's an ideal base to explore North Devon’s coastal charm.
The next two stays are Shop Room 3 and Shop Room 4. These are both cosy, vintage-inspired retreats and are styled with 1940s charm. Shop Room 3 features soft pastels, retro prints and a statement primrose-yellow bathtub for indulgent soaks. Built into the rafters, it boasts a large skylight offering stunning views of the Medieval church tower.
Shop Room 4 has Crittall windows that flood the room with light and it boasts dark woods and rich fabrics that set a refined tone, while the vintage Art Deco pieces complete the vibe. Both the Shop Rooms have a super king-size bed, as well as a rainfall shower, Sonos speakers and a minibar with premium drinks. These four stays are all on the site of The Farmers’ Arms in Woolsery. This is a thoughtfully restored 17th-century pub blending historic charm with modern comforts. It features cosy interiors with exposed beams and wood-burning stoves, serving classic British dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, many from their own farm.
The site is also shared with Woolsery Fish & Chips - a beloved local spot offering sustainably sourced seafood and hand-cut chips in a welcoming, traditional setting.
