Located in the throes of Leigh, Worcestershire, Hop Picker's Barn is a sociable retreat. A 17th century converted property, it blends rustic features with modern amenities with its high beams and natural brick. This converted property is cosy yet sociable, with the open-plan living area housing comfy sofas, a dining table, and a fully furnished kitchen area. Situated amidst acres of Worcestershire greenery, this barn is the perfect retreat from the buzz of daily life. And with an outdoor heated swimming pool and access to a fabulous games room and a tennis court, you'll never be lost for things to do.

Sleeping five across a king sized bed, two single beds and a sofa bed, the barn is suitable for smaller families and friends alike. With two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet, there’s ample space to unwind, and the dining area and kitchen elevate it as a sociable space for communal living. The kitchen is fully furnished with a dishwasher, fan oven and grill, microwave, electric blender and an electric food processor alongside every utensil guests could possibly need, from a tea strainer to a casserole dish.

Each bed hosts fresh bed linen, a cosy duvet and two pillows per person to guarantee an uninterrupted night of rest, and the sitting room houses a flat-screen 48” TV with FreeView, an iPod docking station, a DVD player, a high-fi, and there is free WiFi access throughout the property. The living area houses a comfortable armchair and a cosy L-shaped sofa opposite a large, rectangular table with ample chairs to host a family meal. The large, wooden-framed windows flood the space with natural light.

Immersed in the depths of Leigh, Worcestershire, Hop Pickers Barn is a quaint rural retreat. Worcester Cathedral, Gheluvelt Park, and Worcester Woods Country Park are quintessential visits, and if you’d like to learn a little about the local history, Museum of Royal Worcester, Greyfriars’ House and Garden, and Tudor House Museum are a must. The Malvern Hills are just on the doorstep, with The Hayley Dingle, The Fox and Hounds, and The Leigh Brook walk easily accessible from the back gate. For a culinary treat, try The Fox & Hounds at Lulsley, or the Michelin starred Pensons.
