Journeyman is a gorgeous, rustic, yet super-comfy cabin tucked away in a private woodland in rural Herefordshire. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, this marvellous retreat is ideal for a family getaway or a break with friends.
The cabin boasts an impressive entryway with double height ceilings and delightful views of the surrounding ancient woodland. You then enter into the grand open plan living space, which has plenty of room for you to spread out and unwind in style.
Get comfy on the sofas in the lounge area or step out onto your private deck and hop into one of the two outdoor bathtubs, offering you an idyllic and indulgent way to unwind whilst taking in your surroundings. Also out on the deck is an outdoor shower and some alfresco seating where you can enjoy a morning coffee with a view.
Back inside, the cabin has a well equipped kitchen that’s ideal for whipping up feasts during your stay and there’s also a fabulous dining table that’s ideal for social dinners that stretch into the night. The living area also has a vintage pool table, so you can challenge your loved ones to a tournament during your stay, and there’s also a fun swing seat where you can sit and watch the action unfold.
As night draws in, you can also make use of your own private projector screen! Get the popcorn out and settle in for a movie night with your loved ones.
When bedtime beckons, Journeyman has two bedrooms with king size beds and two twin rooms. There are also two bathrooms on offer and an additional WC downstairs. There’s also the option to have an additional single bed downstairs if required and a travel cot - just ask for these when booking.
Journeyman is part of Brook House Woods, which is a collection of treehouses and cabins nestled in their own secluded areas within an ancient Herefordshire woodland. The cabin is set in 67 acres of forest on a 300-acre farm, offering plenty of privacy despite the presence of other guests in nearby cabins.
For those keen to explore, the area is full of scenic landscapes and activities. You can wander the peaceful farm, and if you enjoy walking, the Herefordshire Trail conveniently passes through the property. Nearby, Bromyard Downs and Bringsty Common are accessible via a lovely woodland path. A short drive will take you to the Malvern Hills, known for their breathtaking views and excellent hiking trails.
On-site, there’s a private tennis court and if relaxation is what you're after, private yoga sessions can be arranged, or you can indulge in a calming massage to fully unwind in this serene natural setting.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 2 nights low season & 3 nights high season
