Leave a reviewThank you for such a perfectly perfect accommodation. I cannot recommend this place enough. This retreat was the perfect end to our Christmas break. The owners had thought of absolutely everything, all the easy to follow instructions for everything, all the details, all the little touches (even for the dog) were just a cherry on top of an already lovely accommodation. We were lucky enough to be there during some snow, we were very kindly offered to extend our check out so that it would be safer for us to drive. Just goes to show how considerate Sarah is. Our dog had such a lovely time too. The enclosed decking was great to keep her settled and not desperate to go out to all the sniffs in the surrounding fields. Although we take all our dog stuff with us if we take her somewhere, it was so lovely to arrive and see the owners had provided everything we’d need for her during the stay (Dog blanket, towel, bowls, bags, create, treats). I hadn’t read about the enclosed agility area, so that was another surprise, which she (and I) loved as well! There is so much information on walks and local pubs / places to eat. We went for a lovely walk and were going to go back out to a pub but once we got back, we remembered how cosy the retreat was and decided to stay in and make the most of relaxing inside with the huge windows and outside in the hot tub, to the sun setting with the beautiful views and a fire and nice film. I could talk all day about how lovely this place is. And I wouldn’t be able to find a single flaw or suggestion. We can’t wait to book it again soon. Thank you so much.
