Cobnut Cabin offers the perfect opportunity to get back to nature and indulge in some rest and relaxation. Nestled in the depths of rural Herefordshire, one of England’s most beautiful counties renowned for its rolling hills and stunning greenery, this cabin is a true home away from home, with hand-crafted wooden interiors, a four poster king size bed, a wonderful bath with a view and an extensive decking area. You also have your own private hot tub where you can indulge in a relaxing soak whilst watching the stars over the snowy Black Mountains.
Unique in character with its timber frame and specialist carpentry finish combined with the comfort and simplicity of a beautifully decorated interior, Cobnut Cabin is endlessly snug. Sleeping two in a four poster king size bed, this property makes the perfect romantic retreat. With no WiFi and limited phone signal, it offers the opportunity to truly switch off and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to whip a tasty feast, including a proper oven with gas hob and fridge with a small freezer box, plus outside there's a tripod over the firepit if you fancy an alfresco fry-up.
In the opulent ensuite bathroom there is a deep double ended bathtub next to a huge window for warming soaks and views of the rolling hills. There is also a large shower and a flushing toilet with the same wonderful view. Outside on the decking enjoy a night spent cosying up by the fire beneath a blanket of stars, and in the morning, sip your coffee soundtracked by the sweet sounds of nature, while away hours relaxing in the hammock, or on the swing seat with a good book.
All the bed linen and towels are provided, and the cabin is heated by gas central heating and a woodburner, ensuring year-round comfort. Thoughtful lighting, beautiful fabrics and interior design compliment the cabin with a certain luxurious charm.
You and your loved ones can also make the most of the extras on offer, such as delicious farm produce, including apple juice, jams, marmalade, chutneys for sale. You can also order home cooked meals and breakfast hampers! If you enjoy yoga, then head to the on-site woodland yurt, where you can enjoy yoga and guided relaxation sessions, as well as various types of massage.
Situated on farmland deep in rural Herefordshire, you'll find miles of glorious countryside on your doorstep. Climb up the Cats Back, a spectacular local ridgeway walk only 15 minutes away, pack a picnic and spend the day hiking in the Black Mountains, or just stroll along the little footpath from your door to the nearest pub for a cold pint of cider. Hay-on-Wye is just a short drive away, a charming market town famous for its bookshops, and the newly renovated Hay Castle with its gallery and cafe is well worth a visit. The county of Herefordshire is breathtaking countryside to explore, mountains, rolling hills, woodlands, streams and brooks flowing into the glorious River Wye which offers opportunities for swimming, paddleboarding and canoeing.

Leave a reviewWe loved Cobnut Cabin, both the cabin and the surrounding area and views were absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place to rest and relax and have a break from day to day life. The cabin has everything you need and we loved sitting in the hammock or on the balcony reading and relaxing in the hot tub. The meadow and the view of the mountains are beautiful. We would love to come back.
