Whether you want a romantic bolthole, a spa-like haven or just somewhere to enjoy the opportunity to get away and connect, The Nook could be the perfect spot. This boutique retreat which is nestled between The Wye Valley and The Brecon Beacons National Park, just a stone's throw from Offa's Dyke Path, is a little bit of heaven with its extensive tree and wildflower planting. As an adults-only space, it is perfect for romantic breaks and with sunrises from your bed, stargazing in the bath and amazing hikes straight from your door, and is sure to provide an unforgettable stay.
The Nook is a spacious one-bedroom getaway which features a range of homemade furniture and funky pieces curated from around the world. In the winter you can make the most of a cosy aga and wood burner or if you prefer to eat out, there is a Michelin guide pub on your doorstep, the choice is yours.
In the summer the garden is an abundant haven to be explored and enjoyed in peaceful tranquility. The deceptively spacious home boasts a super well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, two bathrooms and even a guitar for those fireside serenades.
You can soak away your troubles whatever the weather in the wood-burning hot tub or luxuriate under the stars in the indoor double-ended slipper bath. Stargazing is a must here, and whether you choose to lounge in the garden or chill in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly, it will certainly be spectacular as you are on the edge of one of the world’s eighteen Dark Sky reserves.
If you can bear to drag yourself away from your cosy base, the delights of Herefordshire can be found on your doorstep. You can literally stroll up the 'garden path' onto the infamous 'Cat's Back' and then on to the Brecon Beacon's National Park. Cycling, horse riding and hiking are great ways to enjoy the glorious landscapes and if you are more of a fan of water-based adventures, the River Wye, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is only a stone’s throw away. Whatever you do, you’ll look forward to returning to your cosy haven at the end of the day.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
