If you’re after the perfect honeymoon spot or just an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Pumla might just be what you’ve been looking for. Opportunities to get away and connect are precious and that is exactly what you’ll find at this boutique retreat nestled between The Wye Valley and The Brecon Beacons National Park, just a stone's throw from Offa's Dyke Path.
You are sure to feel at home in this little patch of heaven which boasts extensive tree and wildflower planting. Romantic breaks don’t come much more special than experiencing sunrises from your bed, stargazing in the bath and incredible hikes straight from your door. This little slice of paradise truly has it all with none of the crowds.
Pumla is cosied down in the corner of a pretty field, a haven of peace and tranquility. The emphasis here is all about texture, simplicity and beautifully crafted objects. You will find an outdoor bath for intimate baths a deux, a BBQ area and dining deck as well as a fully equipped indoor kitchen, stylish shower room and a wood-burning stove with oven and hob.
If you prefer to eat out, there is a Michelin guide pub on your doorstep, what's not to love? Stargazing can be experienced from pretty much everywhere and is particularly special while lounging in the outdoor bath with a glass of champagne. Wherever you choose, on a clear night it will be spectacular as you are on the edge of one of the world's eighteen Dark Sky reserves. If you stay in a yurt, you literally can't escape them as the stars shine down on you through the window whilst you sleep. Then in the morning, the beautiful sunrise will gently wake you up to start your day in peace.
Take to the skies, land and water if you choose to explore the local area. It’s the perfect place for cycling, horse riding and hiking. From your cosy base, you can literally walk up the 'garden path' onto the infamous 'Cat's Back' and then on to the Brecon Beacon's National Park. Water-based adventures on the River Wye, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are close at hand too. Whatever you choose to do, you’ll be sure of a warm welcome back at your yurt after your day’s adventures.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 2 nights
