Mrs Mills Yurts at Mayhill Glamping sit among mature woodland and green fields, offering seclusion and tranquillity from the modern world. From the wood-fired hot tub on the private deck to the luxury king size bed and kitchenette, each yurt has everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Jazz-age charm is the order of the day at Mrs Mills Yurts. Each of the four yurts is inspired by a character from the works of author F Scott Fitzgerald and all are filled with little luxury touches, from decadent sheepskin throws to vintage furniture and even decanters of sherry.

As you enter, the huge king size bed can’t be missed. Adorned with luxury bedding and thick throws for those chilly evenings, it’s the perfect place to rest a sleepy head after a long day. Book the Gatsby yurt and you'll find a fabulous super king bed with a gold bedframe. In the winter months, your wood-burning stove fills the yurt with cosy warmth while heating your water for your morning coffee.

A sofa and a dining area provide space to relax at any time of day and can be converted into a comfy sleeping space for the little ones at night. On the other side of your yurt, your kitchenette has everything you need to cook with on the wood burner or BBQ. Cast iron cookwear as well as tall stem glasswear for your champagne. A short hop from your yurt is a full communal kitchen where you have your own fridge and essentials shelf with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshamallows. If you don’t feel like cooking, there’s also a food menu for campfire suppers, breakfast hampers and cheese and wine boxes.

As the evening draws in, light your fire pit and unwind with stunning views over the surrounding countryside while your wood-fired hot tub gets up to temperature. Pour a glass of something cold and sink into the relaxing water as the starry skies emerge from the darkness. When it’s time to head to bed, snuggle up under thick sheets and drift off in peace - ready for the dawn chorus.

The Yurts are situated on May Hill - a National Trust landmark with a peak of nearly 1000ft. Miles of walks start from footpaths right outside your Yurt - joining the Cotswold and Wysis Way. There are far reaching views of the Welsh borderlands and the Malvern hills. There are three outstanding pubs within walking distance and a cookery school in the local village.

The famous Forest of Dean is great for hikers, mountain bikers and horse riders, while the Wye Valley is a foodie's paradise. Further afield, the Malvern Hills and Cotswolds are easily accessible by car, as are the historic towns and cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
