Tucked away amidst rolling hills and sweeping valleys on a farm in Mid-Wales, these luxury glamping pods offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These stylish timber pods blend in with the beautiful natural surroundings while providing plenty in the way of modern comfort and convenience. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside and enjoy the view as you sip your morning cup of coffee. Then, head out to explore the footpaths that wind their way through the farm or venture further afield to explore the Brecon Beacons or the Elan Valley. Round off the day with a BBQ out on the patio and watch the sunset from the comfort of your private hot tub.
There are four pods of different sizes available, catering to couples, families or groups of friends. Chwefru and Irfon are the smallest pods, perfect for a romantic retreat or for small families. Step in through the stylish circular glass doors and you’ll find an open-plan interior that makes the most of the gorgeous views. Relax on the sofa and take it all in or snuggle up in the double bed and enjoy the scenery in complete comfort. Both pods have sofa beds that are best suited for up to two children.
Wye is a double pod that sleeps up to six guests in a double bedroom, two bunk beds and a double sofa bed. This pod is ideal for families or couples who fancy a bit of extra room. The final pod, Severn, offers even more space with huge round windows flooding the interior with natural light. This pod has space for up to eight guests with a king size bedroom, a double, two bunk beds and a king size sofa bed.
All of the pods are beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with kitchens that get more impressive as the pods get larger. Chwefru and Irfon have well-equipped kitchenettes with everything you’ll need to whip up simple meals or prepare food for the BBQ, while Severn features a large kitchen complete with an island so everyone can lend a hand with dinner. They all have their own shower rooms with hot running water and fluffy towels provided as well as cosy living spaces, perfectly positioned in front of the large windows.
When the sun is shining, make the most of the outdoors on the private patios where you’ll find furniture for lounging and dining. There’s a fire pit to keep you cosy as you watch the sunset and this also doubles as a BBQ so you can enjoy alfresco feasts. Each pod also has its own hot tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long walk in the Brecon Beacons as you enjoy the view.
There’s plenty of exploring to do in the area and you’ll find trails to follow right from your front door. For some stunning views and a bit of local history, head to the top of Twyn y Garth where you’ll find a German howitzer. Head to Llandeilo Hill for breathtaking views over the Wye Valley and to discover Prince Llewelyn’s cave. The spectacular Elan Valley is just 25 miles away where you’ll find a series of impressive dams and reservoirs amidst some beautiful scenery. The Brecon Beacons are also within easy reach where you can climb the famous Pen Y Fan, the second-highest peak in Wales, with views reaching as far as the Bristol Channel and the Cambrian Mountains.
