Welcome to Dunmaglass Farmhouse, a beautifully restored 19th-century sanctuary set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Nestled within the mountains surrounding the famous Loch Ness, this spacious and stylish farmhouse invites you to escape to a world of peace, comfort and history. As you approach you’ll be wowed the incredible landscapes that stretch out in every direction. And once you step inside, you’ll find a marvellous home from home with classy interiors that offer up ample social areas and stylish design features.

Gather with your loved ones in the superb drawing room, where the inviting log-burning fireplace will keep you toasty and warm whatever the weather outside. This space has comfy sofas where you can sit with a morning coffee and catch up with loved ones as you gaze out at the incredible views.

For a quieter moment, retreat to the study. A snug haven with its own log stove, this intimate space is ideal for unwinding with a Smart TV and yet more awe-inspiring hill views. You can also head to the cheerful, hand-painted family room, which has a comfy sofa and a giant Smart TV. This room is a kids' haven stocked with board games, but is equally perfect for adults to enjoy a cosy movie marathon.

The heart of Dunmaglass Farmhouse is its spacious, locally crafted kitchen, designed for cooking and gathering. With a large island, six-ring electric range and double Belfast sink, there’s plenty of room for everyone to get involved. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. After cooking, enjoy meals around the large wooden dining table, seating up to 10 guests. The antler chandelier adds charm, and a small bar area lets you mix cocktails and enjoy drinks into the evening.

When eyes become heavy, head to one of the seven bedrooms, which are each individually designed, offering their own unique charm. With plush pillows and soft linens, you’ll enjoy restful nights with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Step outside and the enclosed grounds offer plenty of space to unwind. Sit on the bench with your morning coffee or head to the outdoor dining area that’s perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon, drinks or a summer BBQ.

Dunmaglass Farmhouse is perfectly positioned between the mystical Loch Ness and the sprawling Inverness-shire hills, giving you easy access to the best of the Scottish Highlands. While it feels like a peaceful retreat, you’re just a short drive from Inverness Airport and the train station – ideal for exploring the area’s treasures.

Discover the magic of Loch Ness with a variety of ways to explore its shores and waters. Take a leisurely stroll along Dores Beach or embark on a relaxing Loch Ness cruise to soak in the stunning views. For a truly unique experience, why not explore the loch on horseback or from the water in a canoe? And don’t miss a visit to the iconic Urquhart Castle, perched on the loch’s edge, or a peaceful walk along the Caledonian Canal.
