Luxurious holiday home on a peaceful estate in Perthshire – ideal for big groups who want to stay together.
This stunning property is located in the heart of Perthshire, perched on an elevated hill that overlooks its scenic surroundings. Comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests and with lots of space to socialise and relax, the house is perfect for a celebration where the whole group can stay together. When not exploring Ben Lawers or the charming local town of Aberfeldy, guests can unwind by the fire and watch a film, play pool in the games room or go fishing for trout in the lochan.
The Victorian farmhouse is recently refurbished and has all the modern amenities you could wish for, yet still maintains its original charm and character. The interior has been beautifully designed and tastefully decorated with antique furnishings, stylish artwork and lots of unique and personal touches to make your stay extra special.
There are large communal areas where guests can mingle, such as the sitting room with comfy sofas and the cosy cinema room which has a wide-screen smart TV – both can be warmed by log burners. There is also a games room with a pool table, poker table and a selection of board games where you can enjoy some friendly rivalry.
The large kitchen is superbly equipped with everything needed to cater for the whole group, including an Aga, two electric ovens and hobs, an American style fridge freezer, wine fridge, microwave, kettle and two dishwashers. Meals can be shared in the formal dining area, which has a large dining table and a serving table with a hot plate – it’s also one of the best places to take in the wonderful views.
Five spacious bedrooms await when it’s time to wind down, four with en suites and the fifth with a dedicated shower room and WC. All rooms have zip and link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements.
For an even more memorable experience, the hosts can arrange a private chef to cater for you and in the warmer months, they can come and barbecue by the lochan, making use of the unique fishing hut with its rooftop dining area.
Lundin Farmhouse is situated on a working farm, surrounded by idyllic countryside. As well as a plethora of fantastic walks right on your doorstep, there are an abundance of activities to try out.
