Experience untamed beauty and unparalleled comfort at Hebrides House, a luxurious retreat perched above Uig Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Designed by award-winning architects GRAS and crafted by a local builder, this secluded haven accommodates up to 10 guests with thoughtful spaces for gathering, unwinding and embracing the wild surroundings.
This is a home for swimmers, surfers and hikers and is tailored for those who crave days spent outdoors. Return from beachcombing or hill climbing to rinse off in the outdoor shower, unwind in the alfresco bath or simply watch the sun sink beneath the horizon with a drink in hand.
Inside, Hebrides House balances stylish design with cosy charm. The main house features two inviting living areas, each with open-plan kitchens, wood-burning stoves and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking views of Uig Sands, rolling hills and dramatic skies. The main kitchen is a chef’s delight, equipped with granite countertops, a Bora induction hob and premium Miele appliances, all of which allow you and your loved ones to whip up a storm! A large dining table comfortably seats 10, perfect for sharing stories over dinners that stretch long into the night.
When night falls, sleeping arrangements cater to every guest’s needs. There are four king size bedrooms that are all dressed in Egyptian cotton linens, and there’s a charming single cabin bed with a trundle that’s ideal for kids. The master bedroom offers a unique glass wall that extends into the ceiling, meaning you can enjoy incredible views in the morning as well as stargazing at night - all from the cosy comfort of your bed.
Hebrides House also features a quaint annex that provides a self-contained sanctuary with a lovely living area, kitchenette, king size cabin bed and a private patio - all with spectacular beach views. The spa-inspired annex bathroom, finished in luxurious Mandarin Stone marble, lets you soak in vistas of the beach and hills.
Outdoors, multiple patios offer spaces to dine, gather or relax. An outdoor fire pit, vintage marble dining table and secluded morning bench ensure you find the perfect spot for every moment of the day. An additional outdoor sink is handy for preparing the day’s fresh catch, and a log pile and storage garage provide everything you need for your outdoor adventures. You can also enjoy an indulgent soak in the outdoor bathtub whilst taking in the views.
Hebrides House, nestled in Timsgearraidh village, offers easy access to Uig Sands, a truly breathtaking beach. This wild paradise is ideal for surfing, swimming, hiking and exploring local culture. For scenic strolls, explore nearby hills, Valtos Beach for family-friendly swimming, or the famous Calanais Stones, just a drive away.
Dining options include Uig Sands Restaurant, renowned for fresh seafood and stunning bay views, and Timsgearraidh’s cosy community café with unbeatable baking. For a taste of local spirits, visit the Isle of Harris Distillery or try the award-winning Isle of Lewis Gin (a bottle is included in your welcome pack).
