20A Kirkibost is perched above a stunning sea loch on the Isle of Lewis’ Atlantic coast, offering groups of up to six guests the perfect base from which to explore the marvellous Outer Hebrides. Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this charming home really does allow you to immerse yourself into a world full of enchanting landscapes, dramatic cliffs and the roaring sea.
Backed by the rolling Uig hills, this cosy getaway has a bright and spacious open plan living area with giant windows that perfectly frame the sea views. At one end of the space is the lounge area, where you can unwind with an evening tipple gazing out at your spectacular surroundings. This space features a big comfy sofa, a chaise lounge and some lovely armchairs, so there’s plenty of room for you to socialise together.
At the other end of this room sits the contemporary kitchen. Sleek and stylish, the kitchen is nicely equipped with all the amenities you’ll need to prepare hearty breakfasts and grand dinners for your group. The open plan living space also features a big dining table with space for your whole group where you can enjoy social meals that stretch long into the night.
As night falls you can retire back to your peaceful bedrooms that match the minimalist style of the rest of the home. There are two king size bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom for added privacy, and a cosy twin room that’s ideal for the kids or two friends sharing.
Step outside and feel that fresh sea air on your skin as you take in your breathtaking surroundings. Outside you’ll find a delightful alfresco dining area that offers you the chance to sit and enjoy delicious lunches as you gaze out across the sea.
Dog owners will be delighted to know that this home is dog-friendly, so you can bring your canine companions with you for the stay. And we’re sure they’ll love joining you as you venture out and explore this amazing and rugged destination.
The Outer Hebrides is a captivating archipelago, known for its dramatic landscapes and rich heritage. Stroll along vast, windswept beaches with soft white sand and turquoise waters that invite you to explore. At times you may just be the only people as far as the eye can see, offering a true sense of peace and tranquility.
Wildlife enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of nature here. Look up to see golden eagles soaring overhead, or watch otters playfully swimming along the shore. The air is filled with the sounds of vibrant seabird colonies, from the whimsical puffins to the enchanting calls of nesting birds.
