Stepping inside, the open-plan living area boasts a cosy lounge space with a comfy sofa, a rug and the wood-burning fireplace. This is a lovely spot to rest up with a good book and a cuppa as the flames crackle away in the corner. The living space also features the kitchen, which is fully-equipped with modern appliances, which makes meal prep a breeze. You and your loved one can enjoy hearty dinners on the small dining table in the living space or, when the weather’s warm, take meals alfresco in the pretty courtyard garden and breathe in that fresh Cumbrian air.

Speaking of the garden, this is a delightful space to relax in peace, taking in the views of the surrounding countryside. This is also where you’ll find the luxurious hot tub, the ideal place to enjoy an indulgent soak in the hot water with a glass of bubbles. You and your loved one can relax here with a drink as the sun begins to set and the stars come out at night.

When bedtime beckons, the super-king bedroom upstairs is a calming space in which to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep and you’ll wake up rejuvenated and ready to seize the day in the morning. Or, why not take your first coffee of the day in bed and enjoy a lazy morning gazing out the window at the view. The bedroom also features a wall-mounted smart TV (there’s another one of these in the living room) so you can enjoy an evening movie marathon or dig into your favourite box set. Off the bedroom sits the ensuite shower room which features a large, luxurious shower.

Dandelion is conveniently located near the enchanting Lake District and the iconic Hadrian's Wall, just a short distance from Carlisle. Whether you're a hiker, biker or driver, the area offers captivating trails, roads and paths that showcase breathtaking vistas. After a fulfilling day of exploration or simply unwinding at the cottage, there's no shortage of dining options nearby. The village of Dalston boasts two charming pubs, the Blue Bell Inn and the Bridge Edge Inn, both highly praised and worth a visit.
