Relax in the comfort of this luxurious studio apartment while enjoying magnificent views of iconic Windermere. This bijou studio-for-two is a romantic retreat for couples searching for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful national park. The Ruskin is one of four holiday apartments in this traditional Lakeland-slate building which boasts views across famous Windermere, the largest of the Lakes. Full of modern conveniences, from the Nespresso machine to the flat-screen television, the studio oozes classic style with sumptuous fixtures and furnishings. The use of velvet adds a plush counterpoint to the wooden herringbone floors and stylish tiling.
On arrival, guests can drop their bags and head to the kitchenette for a well-earned cup of tea. This small, but stylish, area has all guests need to put together simple suppers, delicious brunches and gourmet picnics. Over by the charming bay window stands a cute circular dining table where couples can relax and enjoy the magnificent view. On warm days, throw open the windows to make the most of the fresh air and cheery birdsong. It's a lovely spot to sit with morning coffee while making plans for the day ahead. And, after busy days exploring the fells or boating the Lake, guests can return to the studio for a wonderful night's sleep in the king-sized bed. High-quality linens and cosy duvets and pillows ensure a restorative night's sleep and the pretty, blackout blinds keep the morning light at bay - much-needed for indulgent lie-ins.
Wake to the stunning views from the comfort of the bed before heading to the en suite shower room. This stylish space has Italian tiling and plant-based toiletries from Bath House. Emerge from the rainfall shower ready for another memorable lakeland day. The Ruskin is well located, a short walk from quaint Bowness-on-Windermere, where visitors will find plenty of cafes, restaurants, walking shops and independent stores selling picnic goodies. The welcoming Albert Pub comes well-recommended and is dog-friendly.
