The cottage is accessed via the gorgeous, secluded garden, which benefits from stunning mountain views. Here, you will find lush vegetation, a patio area, and the hot tub. Upon entering, guests will immediately be struck by the gorgeous, homely décor, beautifully complimented by a light and airy colour palette which runs throughout the whole property. The living area is open planned and houses the kitchen and lounge. The modern kitchen comes equipped with all mod cons and ample workspace, along with a breakfast bar and a couple of stools. Once referred to by its long-time tenant William Wordsworth as "the loveliest spot that man hath ever found," the village of Grasmere has long been held as one of the most picturesque in the Lake District. A popular tourist destination, the streets are lined with gift shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants, tea rooms, and art galleries. For those who enjoy the odd tipple, the Grasmere Guzzler beer festival takes place on the first weekend of September. You will also be perfectly positioned to explore some of England's most arresting scenery. The region is teeming with walks, climbs, and cycle routes. There are numerous spots for outdoor swimming too, including Grasmere Lake and Windermere - the largest natural lake in England. Windermere has long been a popular holiday location, while visitors can catch a ferry in the summer.
