Set amongst the idyllic Highlands countryside is this luxurious log cabin for eight, complete with outdoor hot tub overlooking the River Spey.
Croft Kincardine is situated off the beaten track, in a wonderfully secluded and tranquil environment near Boat of Garten. The stunning log cabin, with sedum roof, blends seamlessly into its scenic surroundings. With virtually no neighbours in the near vicinity, it is the perfect place to relax in peace and quiet with family and friends. The stay includes the luxury of a private hot tub, ideally located for guests to enjoy an indulgent soak with spectacular views of the River Spey.
The property has been beautifully furnished and designed with your comfort in mind. The interiors are both cosy and spacious, ideal for large groups to socialise and unwind. At the heart of the home is the open-plan living area. Here you’ll find the lounge with comfy seating around a wood-burning stove, the focal point of the room that keeps the lodge warm all year round. There’s also a smart TV and a selection of books to pass the time on rainy days.
When it’s time to eat, guests can make use of the kitchen, fully equipped with everything you could need to prepare a feast. Meals can be shared at the dining table, with seating for eight and lovely views. French doors open out onto the covered deck, complete with outdoor dining and multiple seating areas. Further down into the garden is the luxurious hot tub and also a fire pit. So you can enjoy an indulgent dip with a glass of bubbles before spending evenings toasting marshmallows under the clear, starry sky. Fishing in the Spey is available on request.
When bedtime beckons, the home features four large bedrooms. In the main house is a king size and twin bedroom, which both share a family bathroom. An additional king size and twin bedroom (both with ensuite bathrooms) have separate outdoor entrances. Each bed is fitted with comfy mattresses and crisp linen, whilst slippers, robes and fluffy towels are provided in each bathroom to offer a spa-like experience.
Croft Kincardine couldn’t be better located as a base from which to discover the Cairngorms National Park and The Highlands of Scotland. The UK’s largest National Park, the Cairngorms offers a wide range of things to do, including some incredible walking and cycling routes, wildlife watching, water and snow sports. The quaint village Boat of Garten is a short drive (or picturesque walk) away and slightly further afield are Nethybridge and Aviemore, both well worth a visit.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 3 nights low season & 7 nights high season
