Cooks Cottage is a beautifully characterful cottage offering stunning loch views and marvellous decor throughout. Situated on the shores of Loch Rannoch in rural Perthshire, this cosy cottage for six is ideal for a getaway with friends or a family break.
The cottage has a cosy lounge area, with big comfy sofas, a calming colour palette and fabulous wallpaper that adds to the home’s charm. There’s also a log burner in the corner, so you can settle in for an evening with loved ones, staying toasty and warm as you catch up.
When it comes to meal prep, head to the marvellously hand-crafted kitchen, with its pastel hues and butler sink. Here, you’ll find all the amenities and appliances you need to prepare hearty breakfasts and grand dinners for your group, which you can enjoy on the beautiful dining table that comfortably seats six.
When the weather’s warm, you’ll want to head out to the terrace, where you can get comfy and enjoy an evening tipple with a view. There are throws here and a firepit, so you can stay nice and warm as the stars come out above.
As eyes begin to tire, you can head to bed in one of the three lovely bedrooms, one of which sits on the ground floor and has an ensuite shower room for added privacy. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor and share a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms feature king size beds and one has a pair of twins for added flexibility.
Spend your days wandering the serene shores of the loch, or take to the water with the provided kayaks for a fresh perspective on the stunning landscape. If you'd rather stay on solid ground, hop on one of the available bikes and cycle through the charming countryside.
For a deeper connection with nature, explore ancient woodlands where towering trees and vibrant rhododendrons frame awe-inspiring views of Schiehallion and Ben Alder. Tackle rugged trails across expansive moorlands, keeping an eye out for red deer, ospreys, and golden eagles. As night falls, unwind beneath a sky full of stars, far from the glow of city lights.
