With views over the rooftops of Crieff and to the Highlands beyond, this unique property combines the historic with the modern to create a beautiful place to relax in luxury amongst stunning scenery.
Renovated by those with an eye for design and an obsession with detail, this characterful retreat will be popular with fellow lovers of clean aesthetics and top-end luxury.
With its thick exposed stone walls, so typical of the local architecture, and beautiful arched windows, the tower is brimming with character and makes for a memorable stay. And the historic elements which lend the property so much charm are complimented by sold oak floors and soft furnishings, which give a contemporary twist.
Foodies keen to sample the local produce will be blown away by the stunning Bulthaup B1 kitchen and appliances. You'll find a generous welcome breakfast hamper, full of delicious treats from local Ballintaggart Farm, plus artisan coffee pods from Difference Coffee. Enjoy memorable dinners or lengthy brunches at the stylish dining table, before heading out for the day, or hunkering down in the snug and catching up on box sets.
After a day exploring the Highlands, and before heading out to eat at one of the local great restaurants, take a break from the schedule for sundowners on the balcony. Watch the sun set over the rooftops of Crieff and breathe in the fresh Scottish air, while making plans for the next day.
And, when it's time for shut eye, the three stunning bedrooms offer a deep luxurious slumber. Each of the rooms have walk-in showers which are fitted with Dornbracht matt gold showers and taps. They all have underfloor heating, for cosy toes, and luxurious shower gel, shampoo & conditioner from Nectarome, Moroccan products with essences, aromatic plants and essential oils.
Beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton linens and cosy wool blankets. Thick curtains keep any night chills at bay, and those arched windows offer spectacular views over the town.
And Crieff is the perfect base to explore the area. The Glenturret Distillery is a short walk from the tower and boasts a Michelin star, so pre-booking is a must, but visitors can also enjoy a tour and a taste. The Cow and & Parrot is the place for coffee, while The Fisherman's Inn is great for a pizza and a pint. And the Taybank in the riverside town Dunkeld is a must visit - drop in on Thursday night's for live traditional music.
