Surrounded by its very own little piece of woodland, Coddiwomple sits neatly tucked away in the beautiful Downash Woods. This artisanal, bespoke wood cabin is made of the highest quality materials and has been decorated to the highest of standards, guaranteeing guests a uniquely cosy retreat. Its fantastic location in High Weald - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - ensures great access to the surrounding countryside and the area's various charming towns and villages, making it ideal for nature lovers and urbanites alike. As a self-catering getaway for two, you can make use of the fully equipped kitchen, have your meals al fresco on the beautiful decking in front of the wood burner, or enjoy a glass of bubbly with that special someone in the luxurious hot tub.
Upon stepping inside the cabin, guests will instantly notice the superior craftsmanship that has gone into Coddiwomple. The interior - just like the exterior - is bedecked with the finest timber and exudes a cosy and calming air. The muted lighting perfectly complements the wooden interior and its sepia tones. The bedroom boasts a super comfortable king size bed, upon which guests can enjoy views of their own private woodland through the large picture window. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The living area has a comfortable two-person leather sofa and a flat screen TV. Bi-fold doors are on both sides of the cabin, and lead onto the decking area. Here, guests can enjoy the woodland surroundings in front of the log burner or soak away their cares in the hot tub.
Coddiwomple Cabin is wonderfully situated in Downash Woods, providing the perfect setting for outdoor exploring. The surrounding High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is the fourth largest such area in England and Wales. The Weald is replete with small farms and woodlands, historic parks, sunken lanes, and ridge-top villages, all of which are worth exploring. Local walks include the Bewl Water Map (a 12.5-mile walk around a beautiful reservoir) and the Ticehurst Welly Walk. The nearby village of Ticehurst is home to several lovely eateries, while towns within a 30-minute drive include Rye, Royal Tunbridge Wells, and the seaside spot of Hastings.
