Combining modern style with rustic features, Cabin X is a bright, airy retreat nestled in Catsfield, Sussex. With simple, wooden interiors and windows at every turn, the cabin offers up a classy Scandinavian feel. Enjoy a cup of morning coffee whilst gazing out onto the Sussex greenery either from the bedroom, inundated with large windows that welcome in the countryside light or from outside on the cosy garden furniture. East-facing, the cabin is guaranteed to be soaked in sunlight each morning. Located on a secluded, 25-acre farm, Cabin X is a unique retreat.
With bright, modern interiors, Cabin X is a gorgeous bolthole located amidst the greenery of Sussex. Sleeping two, it's perfect for a romantic couple's retreat, with an open-plan layout and cosy interiors, featuring a small seating area, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area. With a spacious double bed positioned in front of a wall of windows, the wildlife is right outside. Gaze out into the countryside whilst sampling the home-cooked breakfast, fresh from the farm shop.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower with incredible dual-aspect views for a bathing experience immersed in nature, and the rustic kitchen accommodates a sink, a two-ring stove and basic ingredients including fresh milk, olive oil, salt, sugar and butter. The minibar provided is nicely stocked with a selection of wine and bubbles, and the cabin further hosts local walking maps, playing cards, binoculars and a DAB radio to maximise enjoyment during your stay.
Immersed in Catsfield, Sussex, the local area of Cabin X is inundated with exciting day trips. Hastings Pier won the coveted Pier of the Year Award in 2017 alongside the Stirling Prize for Architecture and is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Hastings nice sandy beach is also worth a visit and is a great picnic destination. The historic site of Pevensey Castle offers fantastic views of the Sussex countryside and was built by the Romans around 290AD. Hastings Old Town offers up beautiful high-beamed buildings, and the historic 17th-century house of Batemans in Burwash, East Sussex, was the residence of Rudyard Kipling from 1902 until 1936. Surrounded by culinary delights, The White Hart Inn, The Squirrel Inn and Pan & Co Café offer up hearty food.

Our prices start at £150 per night during our weekly off peak (Sunday and Monday) and range to £180 per night during our weekly peak times (Friday and Saturday).
Peak Season: May - September (inclusive) & Christmas / New Year Period (TBC each year)
