Leave a reviewWe had a fabulous three night stay in Clermount on the Penicuik estate. Set in beautiful peaceful surroundings the property had everything you could want and more. Phillip the estate manager was very friendly and hospitable. He was very responsive when we had a problem with the coffee machine, changing it immediately for us. The house itself was even better than expected so spacious and set in lovely private grounds and even though there were other houses you couldn’t see them until you drove out of the estate. The only downside was that we had to leave and we didn’t get a chance to try out the hot tub! We would definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst exploring Scotland and cannot wait to make a return visit!

The best stay ever! The cottage was absolutely immaculate when we arrived and fully stocked with everything you could ever need. It’s tucked away on the estate so we had complete privacy and quietness. Everything was amazing quality from the kitchenware to the mattress to the soap. I contacted the owners multiple times and got a prompt and helpful response. It’s great that it is dog friendly and there are plenty of walks to go on around the estate. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival and was truely bliss. I can’t wait to come back and would highly highly recommend.
