Cambeak Shepherd’s Hut takes its name from a dramatic cliff that shrouds a nearby beach at Crackington Haven, a stone’s throw away. The hut is hidden away in the far corner of a field on a small farm, offering stunning views across the valley and out to sea. It has been beautifully handcrafted and finished to the highest standard, with premium features like oak parquet flooring, a tiled bathroom and full insulation. And for that added touch of luxury, an outdoor hot tub completes the stay, where you can enjoy an indulgent soak and take in the incredible scenery. You may even see the farm’s resident alpacas and sheep grazing the nearby fields.

The hut itself is modern and stylish. The open-plan living area has been designed to have enough space for guests to relax and dine, with two valet chairs and a table perfectly placed for you to enjoy the view. A comfy, raised double bed awaits for when it’s time to sleep and shares the same gorgeous sea vistas. A Sky Glass TV is fitted onto the wall, ideal for cosy movie nights in bed (don’t worry about buffering, the hut is connected with ultra-fast WiFi). And to make life easier, there is plenty of storage space under the bed for all your holiday essentials.

The kitchen is at the far end of the hut. It comes well-equipped with appliances (including an induction hob, microwave/grill and fridge) and all the cooking basics you’ll need to whip up a meal. Next to the kitchen is the shower room, which has a spacious shower, washbasin and flushing toilet. Luxurious toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided. The hut is kept warm throughout the year by a bio-ethanol stove.

Outside you’ll find a large, fenced garden and decked area that leads directly onto the farmland. It is a lovely spot to soak up the surroundings with a morning brew or evening tipple. There is also an outdoor dining table for alfresco meals and another seating area with a fire pit and BBQ. And don’t forget the hot tub, the best place to watch a famous Cornish sunset and relax under the starry sky.

The farm lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Cornish Coast and guests are welcome to explore the 19 acres of farmland and meet the resident alpacas, sheep and chickens. You’ll also have access to the nearby guest barn, which has a washing machine and dryer, games room and honesty shop. You can also practice your swing or play a full round of golf on the realistic indoor golf simulator, available to hire for a small extra charge.

Crackington Haven Beach is a mere five minutes away, a lovely cove with a stretch of golden sand between imposing cliffs, perfect for swimming, rock pooling and water sports. The picturesque seaside town of Bude is also close by, famous for its wide sandy beaches, quirky independent shops and excellent eateries.
