Wake up in one of the four beautifully furnished bedrooms and make your way to the state-of-the-art kitchen to rustle up some breakfast. Then, relax in the garden or head out to explore Northumberland. In the evenings, gather around the table for dinner together, snuggle up in the living room in front of a film or sneak off for a long soak in one of the beautiful freestanding baths.
Step inside the house and you'll find yourselves drawn through to the big open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. Floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides flood the space with natural light during the day while the deep blue feature wall in the lounge area creates a cosy atmosphere as evening draws in. You'll find everything you need in the high-spec kitchen with its two ovens, 48 bottle wine fridge and large island, perfect for socialising while preparing meals. Enjoy your meals at the big dining table overlooking the garden, or step outside onto the patio and eat outdoors on warm summer evenings.
There are four bedrooms in total, all decorated in a simple, contemporary style to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The huge main bedroom is on the first floor with its own dressing room, ensuite and sitting room with a stunning apex window and skylights offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There's also a twin room on the first floor which has an additional two pull-out beds, one single and one suitable for a toddler. This makes a cosy hideaway for the kids. There are two more bedrooms on the ground floor that can be set up with luxurious super-king size beds or twin singles, offering plenty of flexibility for groups.
There's plenty to see and do in the area and Seahouses makes a great base for exploring Northumberland. For a bit of an adventure, head out on a boat trip to the Farne Islands to spot seals, puffins and other seabirds. Alternatively, head up the coast to Bamburgh Castle and enjoy the stunning coastal views while learning about the rich history of the region. A little further north, you'll find the picturesque island of Lindisfarne which is accessible via a causeway during low tide. There are also plenty of outdoor activities on offer with beaches to explore, hiking trails along the coast and cycling routes that will take you through Northumberland National Park.
