As you enter the cabin, you can’t help but stare out of the large windows across the Scottish countryside. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is the heart of the home; a place where memories are made and stories are shared. Whether you’re gathered around the roaring wood-burner on a winter evening, curled up watching a movie under a blanket or taking in a summer sunset with a glass of something cold, you won’t forget your stay at Minetrack.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to feed 10 hungry bellies whether you’re brewing up a pot of morning coffee or serving up an evening feast. In the summer months, why not light the BBQ or pizza oven and enjoy some alfresco dining on the terrace? As the sun starts to set over the horizon, sink into the hot tub with a glass of something cold or gather around the outdoor firepit as the starry skies emerge.

When it’s time to head to bed, make your way up the stunning custom staircase into one of the five bedrooms. Three ensuite master bedrooms boast huge windows that fill the space with morning light and views of the rolling countryside. A further ensuite double is on the ground floor, as is the twin bunk room for the little ones. Drift off under luxury bedding and wake up refreshed for the day ahead.

Nestled in the Liddel Valley, Minetrack is the perfect base to explore Cumbria and southern Scotland. The Solway Coast AONB, Northumberland National Park and Lake District National Park are all just minutes away and boast stunning walking trails, rolling hills, tranquil beaches and picturesque villages. Why not follow ancient footsteps along Hadrian’s Wall or take in the wedding hotspot of Gretna? The historic city of Carlisle is just 15 minutes away by car, perfect for a day spent wandering ancient alleyways, browsing independent shops and sampling local grub.
