Immerse yourself in sheer and absolute comfort at this sea-view, country cottage in the Cornish fishing village of Rock. Oozing with a casual luxury and a nonchalant, vintage style, Treverra Cottage has a sumptuous yet down-to-earth charm. Its shared on-site facilities add an indulgent touch and include an outdoor infinity pool and steaming hot tub. With the pretty Porthilly Cove just a ten minute walk away, you can enjoy ruddy country walks and seaside days.

Treverra Cottage dates back to the 18th century and is a restored farm building set in 14 acres of rolling pastures and is a secluded haven for groups up to 8 people.

Its vintage-chic interiors are bursting with personality and are a melting pot of British and Scandinavian culture. There are traditional cottage features and roaring wood burners, along with a fascinating collection of antique treasures. Sleek whitewashed walls add a contemporary seaside vibe and are joined by subtle stipes and coastal finds.

Each gorgeous room is packed with its own beautiful and unusual pieces, which have been carefully curated to create a real depth of character. There’s the warm and cosy sitting room with its worn leather armchairs and the open-plan kitchen-diner with its classic Range cooker. Look out for the ageing apothecary cabinet or the striking grandfather clock, or the faded portrait paintings and woven rugs.

Upstairs, you’ll find three lovely en-suite bedrooms, including two spacious doubles and a stylish twin. Each is finished with its own eclectic and luxurious designs and has super-comfy beds topped with goose-down duvets. The downstairs playroom can also double as a twin room for the kids, and has board games, toys and a PS4 console.

Step into the garden to find a wealth of five-star surprises, heading straight to the heated infinity pool overlooking the estuary waters. Seek out the hot tub and the Scandinavian pool house or work off delicious lunches on the private tennis courts. On rainy days, you can make the most of the state-of-the-art modern tech, using the Sky TV, WIFI and networked Sonos system.

Beyond the grounds there is plenty to see, whether you wander the breath-taking coast or lush farmland fields. The exclusive village of Rock is just a 5 minute drive away and is a sophisticated seaside hub with its own Michelin-starred food. Discover its white sandy beaches and stunning coastal scenes, before sailing across the estuary to explore Padstow’s bustling streets.

We had the most blissful week at Treverra Cottage enjoying the best of Cornish hospitality, weather and activities. The cottage is beautiful, inside and out. Liz could not have been more accommodating - recommending local eateries, surf schools and things to do. The house is fully equipped, immaculately clean and stunningly decorated. We enjoyed sunny meals on the terrace looking out towards Padstow bay, my husband went on long runs in the local area and my yoga views were incredible. The kids loved their back-to-back beds! Delicious goodies were awaiting us on arrival. I hope very much to be back.

There is something magical about Treverra Cottage. Perhaps it is the astonishing light, or how it is at once private but within walking distance of one of the most gorgeous beaches we've ever been to (the Church right on the beach feel like something out of a Dickens novel). It feels like the home you wished you had, were you to have bucket loads of taste, and a fantastic eye for antiques. The house bundles you up in a big, cosy, luxury bubble - every detail has been thought about and the owner is completely charming. Couldn't recommend more highly.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our weeks here with family and friends over the past two years. A very private property which has breathtaking views of the Camel Estuary and wonderful walks to the beach/restaurants - the famous Fees Food an essential for early morning coffee. Every attention has been given to the stylish Cornish/Swedish inspired interiors. Original handpicked artwork by local artists which is so refreshing. Luxurious bath towels and body products beautifully arranged. Tea and cake on arrival with an awesome view - beautiful at all times of the year and we can't wait for our return visit in Spring!

Treverra Cottage is a place of chic luxury, with fantastic facilities and stylish interiors. The views are breathtaking and the gardens are stunning. It’s so convenient for the wonderful beaches and country walks, but if a day at home is what you feel like, there’s a beautiful pool and tennis courts to enjoy! My family and I had the best time here and I look forward to returning many times.

We have stayed at Treverra Cottage since 2015 and stay every year, sometimes twice or thrice a year and absolutely love it . It is an incredibly magical place and down a private lane ...the house is terribly comfortable and picture perfect and the gardens are extremely special. The pool is sensational and has to be the biggest private pool I have ever seen and there is a jacuzzi too and a tennis court , it is totally divine . The view from the pool is heavenly and you can easily lose yourself staring at the Camel Estuary and the extraordinary sunsets. I would adore to stay there for three months( or longer)with my dog and pretend to be an author with a type writer ....what bliss! The owners next door are very accommodating and totally charming !
